BOSS x Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team

Get back on track with BOSS this Spring/Summer 2023 season, and discover new styles powered to drive your style into the new season.

After 60+ years away from the globe’s most competitive racing championship, Aston Martin returned to Formula One™ in 2021, and stating their presence in the motorsport world as one to be reckoned with. Befittingly, that sentiment is only strengthened by the new BOSS x Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team partnership.

Much like the storied fashion brand, Aston Martin prides themselves on a few key elements that define their heritage: innovative technology, craftsmanship, luxury, and iconography. A partnership of two giants in their respective fields like this one is bound to yield an international shared experience of epic proportions, from pure enthusiasm, excitement, and an unequivocally tasteful display of style – from the driver’s cockpit, to mission control, to the spectators at every circuit.

What to Wear to the Race

If you’re in the running to attend a race this season – Canadian Grand Prix or otherwise – you too can be a part of the BOSS racing lifestyle. The anticipation equally got us thinking of how we’d pull up to the grid, so here’s a few looks to consider as you’re dressing for the trackside to a night out.

The Travel Look

GET THE LOOK

Since your priorities are going to be catching flights and hotel check-ins, don’t let your outfits slow you down as you’re going through the paces. Your best bet is to wear something where performance meets comfort – a pair of slim joggers matched with a hoodie, and perhaps a puffer vest if the conditions call for it. You can still wear relaxing clothing without compromising on a fashion first silhouette, and fortunately BOSS knows a thing or two about that.

Finish the look with leather tennis sneakers and an equally sleek backpack, and you should be on your way to the big race in no time.

The Trackside Look

GET THE LOOK

Perhaps the most exhilarating occasion to dress for – the racing. Whether it’s Qualifying or the Grand Prix, what you wear is paramount for capitalizing on a rare and pure experience that is righteously treated as such.

The call here is sportswear, entailing fine looks met with a cool and effortless attitude. Opt for a neat short sleeve pique polo, paired to denim or chinos, and sneakers to finish. And as always, an outer layer should be coordinated with the weather – a water-repellent puffer is never a wrong choice, nor is a zip-up track jacket. While this might be a subtle look, the clever branding and colour scheming adds plenty of that signature BOSS flair.

The Special Event Look

GET THE LOOK

While the Grand Prix might be “the special event”, there’s more to a race weekend than just the racing itself. Fortunately, this gives you all the reason to dress your absolute best in formal attire.

For a night on the town for dinner and drinks, a sport jacket and dress pant combination is going to be quite worthy of that. The beauty of a contrasting jacket-pant setup is that you can play around with colours and patterns you couldn’t get with a full suit. For footwear, feel free to pare down a little with loafers to channel your inner Fernando Alonso.

If you do happen to attend a more formal event, than what better opportunity to get out your best suit, a crisp dress shirt, and pair of lace-ups – though low-profile sneakers are an acceptable and classy, yet sporty nod to the nature of a weekend celebrating the world’s finest motorsport.
